Explore LAUSD: Choices Fairs Begin This Saturday!

The 2027–28 on-time Choices application process opens Thursday, October 1, 2026, and Choices Fairs begin this Saturday to help families explore the many opportunities available across LAUSD.

Both in-person and virtual opportunities are available, offering families a chance to learn more about the outstanding schools and specialized programs across LAUSD – including K-12 programs designed for gifted and advanced learners.

If your child was invited to participate in High Dosage Tutoring for the fall semester, please return the application to the counseling office to enroll. Tutoring will begin after school on Wednesday, September 23rd. This service offers the opportunity to have either an in-person experience with a Mark Twain teacher or a virtual experience on campus with a Mark Twain staff supervisor on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday for 10 weeks. The District will provide transportation.
