Residential School

Mark Twain Middle School is a campus that exudes collaboration, cooperation and community; although we offer six different pathways and programs into our school, we are all MARK TWAIN SHARKS and that's how we want our students and staff to feel every time they walk through our doors.

Our Residential Program has a strong focus on the Performing Arts and allows students to participate in a range of electives under this umbrella, including Theater, Ceramics, Traditional Art, Music and Dance. Our students perform annually in a variety of concerts and presentations not only for their peers but also for a wider audience. Our Bell Ringers are world-renowned, playing at venues around the globe.

Students in our Residential Program are mostly from our local neighborhood, coming directly from nearby elementary schools. Many students walk or ride their bikes to school, and stay after school to participate in Mark Twain's sportsclubs and other activities

Within our Residential Program, we also offer our School for Advanced Studies (SAS) honors program. Although this program is available by application to students living outside our residential area, students who are within our residential boundaries and meet the SAS criteria, do not need to apply.
